Environmental Controls & Decontamination

Dust and impurities in the indoor air are a significant problem in many of the warehouses, logistic centers, manufacturing facilities and manufacturing processes. Impurities entering the facilities from outside, and people moving around the premises release large amounts of harmful particles into the air; those particles damage the health of your staff, cause malfunctions to manufacturing equipment and weaken the product quality.

Airborne dust or contaminants, which may have a deposition time of several days, are generated in the processes of wood, stone, metal welding, chemical, plastic, and food industries.
In addition, cardboard, rubber, and other packaging materials absorb moisture from the air and emit small particles in the air, thereby increasing their spread.

Employees exposed to particulate matter has been found having increased respiratory symptoms, such as cough, mucus, sniffles, and work-related asthma symptoms.
Particles with a diameter of less than 10 micrometers are known as inhalable particles (PM10).
Particles of this size pass through the breathing air into the human bronchi. Ultrafine particles follow closely to airflow and end up deeper in lungs than particles with larger diameter.

When indoor air quality problems are identified, usually the premises are ventilated by letting the impure air out and the replacement air in, which – especially during the winter season – leads to a huge energy loss and increased heating costs.
A clean environment brings significant savings and benefits to a company by improving work wellbeing, reducing costly sick leaves and staff turnover, while increasing employee’s work performance achieving better product quality.

With Genano® Air Purifiers, you can remove even nano-size particles, gaseous compounds (VOC’s) and microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and mold spores from indoor air.

Genano’s unique electric filtration technology removes even the most dangerous ultra-fine particles, that cause harm to our bodies by penetrating the blood circulation through lungs. When traditional fiber filter can collect particles about up to 300 nanometer (=0,3 µm) size, Genano ® electrostatic precipitation system collects particles of even 3 nanometer (=0.003 µm) size. (1 nanometer is a billionth of a meter, 1 ∙ 10–9 m).
Consulting services is available to address the choice of purification and decontamination units, and for their installation and connection to existing central ventilation systems in industrial premises like cleanrooms for medical devices production, public spaces, hotels, fitness centers, professional offices, laboratories, and schools.
Genano has maturated a large experience with clinics and hospitals, for the creation of isolated rooms in conditions of negative pressure and high degree of containment of the air to avoid cross-infections in intensive therapies clean rooms.
